A GOOD BOXED .22 PRE-WAR WEBLEY & SCOTT SLANT-GRIP 'SENIOR' MODEL AIR-PISTOL, serial no. S16795,
circa 1937, with blued smooth-bore 6 5/8in. barrel, breech-housing with adjustable rear-sight blade, blued air-chamber with model details on the left side and maker's details together with three lines of patents on the right, chequered brown bakelite grips and three-pin trigger unit with guarded trigger, retaining virtually all its original factory blued finish and appearing little used, retaining its 'Wallis & Wallis' lot label (see below), in its maker's card carton in good condition with pale blue-green label
